How do I manage time zones in Data Studio?

If you are a user who is viewing farm data in a different time zone, you can choose which timezone you want it displayed in.

FarmRoad data is stored in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). When viewing data across FarmRoad, it will be displayed based on the users’ device time. 

If you want to view data that was collected in a different time zone, it will not make sense to view it in your local time. 

Data Studio allows you to convert a graph to the time zone that the data was collected in so that the times displayed match up with the place it was collected in.

Choosing a time zone for a graph 

1. Go to Data Studio
2. Select the dashboard you wish to view
3. Find the graph you want to edit and click the options menu
4. Select Manage timezone
5. You will be presented with a pop-up that allows you to search for the relevant location

Once you have selected the correct location, the graph will be adjusted to reflect the new time zone.
