Using Crop Registration offline

Crop Registration works offline, so you do not have to worry about losing critical data when your device connection is poor.

How do I know when the app is offline?

An icon indicating there is no internet connection will appear in the top-right corner of the app header when your device is offline.

The Scouting functionality is not available without an internet connection.

When do the records I create offline get saved to FarmRoad?

Any records you create, edit, and save while offline are stored locally on your device. Once your device is back online, the records will upload to FarmRoad.

How do I know when my records have been saved successfully?

When your device is back online, records will sync automatically. A green cloud icon will appear in the top-right corner of the app header when the sync is successful.

What happens if there are record conflicts?

If two records are created for the same date, the record saved last will be uploaded to FarmRoad. The other record will be discarded.

What happens if there are issues retrieving or uploading records?

If there are issues retrieving or uploading records, a yellow cloud icon will appear in the top-right corner of the app header.

If there is a server-side issue during upload, the app will continue retrying until the records are uploaded successfully.

In the rare case that a record upload request is invalid, the record will be discarded.
