# FarmRoad Easy Yield Overview
## What is Easy Yield?
Easy Yield is a yield prediction tool available in FarmRoad for tomato growers. It does not require historic data to get started.
To use Easy Yield, start entering the required measurements and harvest data. FarmRoad will then present predicted harvests for both 1 week ahead and 4 weeks ahead. You will receive your first yield prediction after 8 weeks of recording data.

## How can I start using Easy Yield?
To access Easy Yield Prediction, [contact WayBeyond here](https://www.waybeyond.io/contact-sales).
Easy Yield is easy to get started with using FarmRoad’s data collection tools.
To use Easy Yield, you must collect **minimum 8 weeks of**:
* Set Fruits Per Plant
* Head Density
* Fruit Number Per Plant
* Fruit Weight
You must also collect **minimum 4 weeks** of:
* Harvest (yield data)
WayBeyond also **recommends** growers collect:
* Flower Number Per Plant
* Leaves Per Plant
* Growth
* Stem Diameter
* Leaf Length
* Leaf Width
* Fruit Diameter
* Top to Flowering Truss
* Truss Height
Data must be collected at minimum once per week to receive weekly Easy Yield Predictions. Weeks in FarmRoad run from Monday to Sunday.
### How do I view my yield predictions in FarmRoad?
Your Easy Yield predictions can be viewed in the Activity Feed alongside your weekly and total harvest data.
1. Navigate to **Activity Feed.**
2. View your Yield Prediction in the **Yield Prediction** widget.
## When are predictions updated?
Predictions are updated in two ways:
* at the end of every week for crop cycles with yield and crop registration values updated in the previous week
* daily for any weeks with updated yield and crop registration data
## Why can I not see any predictions?
Check that:
1. your subscription includes this module
2. your crop cycle is using a tomato crop
3. the date you started your crop cycle is more than 8 weeks ago
4. you have updated your crop registration for at least 8 consecutive weeks and yield data for at least 3 consecutive weeks
5. you have recorded all required crop registration data
If you have done all of this and still cannot see a yield prediction, please contact your support representative.
