# How do I record a crop yield?
> You can easily record a crop yield on a sector.
## Recording a yield
You can record yield for a particular crop cycle in the Activity Feed using the Yield widget.
1. Go to the **Activity Feed** for the relevant sector.
2. Click **Log a yield record**.
3. Enter the yield value, date, and time of harvest.
4. Click **Save**.
Yield can be recorded as an absolute value in kg or lb, or by boxes.
You can easily see your weekly and total accumulated yield in the Yield Widget
It is important to record yield consistently each week. The Yield Widget will remind you if you haven't recorded your harvest this week.
## How do I change a yield record?
When you save a yield record, an event appears in the Activity Feed.
1. Go to the **Activity Feed** for the relevant sector.
2. Click **…** on the yield record.
3. Select **Edit record** or **Delete record**.
4. Confirm the action using the relevant button.
